Salary: USD 220,000 - 292,000 / annual

Anduril Industries is a defense technology company transforming U.S. and allied military capabilities through advanced technology, including AI-powered operating systems, autonomy, computer vision, and sensor fusion. The Design & Construction team delivers factories, labs, offices, and secure spaces that enable the organization to design, build, and deploy advanced defense technology. You will lead a team of 4-6 subject matter experts focused on due diligence, project programming, and project peer review. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Design & Construction, you will work closely with the Strategic Real Estate team and Design & Construction Project Managers. Your responsibilities span four key areas: Leadership: Establish business plans aligning strategy and financial objectives. Build team vision and methodology that enables the real estate and facilities function to implement strategies balancing scope, cost, and schedule. Develop industry connections to understand trends and test new solutions. Maintain strong stakeholder relationships and create a collaborative culture. Demonstrate commitment to team-centered leadership. Execution: Establish project cadences with deliverables summarizing findings and recommendations. Facilitate scoping decisions while optimizing solutions. Own and influence design guidelines for technical infrastructure. Build a 'Project Triage' service to address unexpected technical systems issues during projects. Business Insight: Establish core metrics informing investment decisions. Capture and present business performance including efficiencies and savings. Assess portfolio optimization opportunities with cost/benefit analysis. People Development: Hire capable team members advancing departmental skillset. Enable high performance through a team-centric environment with mutual respect and accountability. Establish individual career development plans aligned with business needs and career interests. Project types range from office to industrial research facilities to manufacturing centers, including ground-up developments, tenant improvements, and standalone infrastructure improvements. You will think and act broadly across the organization to ensure strong connections between real estate/facilities and Anduril, improve team efficiency, and help grow both the organization and its people. REQUIREMENTS: - Minimum 12 years of progressive experience in construction with accountability for infrastructure systems (mechanical, electrical, industrial operations) - Minimum 5 years of management experience - In-depth knowledge of construction means and methods, materials, MEP systems, and building codes - Full knowledge of design and construction life cycle from site selection through facilities integration - Ability to adapt to ambiguity and changing priorities - Effective communication at varying organizational levels - Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time - Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export-controlled information or facilities PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: - Experience with advanced manufacturing-related projects - Experience with construction management software - Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, architecture, construction management, electrical, mechanical, or industrial engineering - Experience with ICD-705 and TEMPEST-related policies and guidance
