Voyager Space is seeking a Director of Networking to lead enterprise network strategy, architecture, and operations across corporate offices, engineering environments, manufacturing sites, and mission-support locations. Reporting to the Chief Information Officer, you will own the reliability, security, scalability, and performance of Voyager's corporate network foundation, including LAN/WAN, wireless, internet edge, SD-WAN, VPN, firewalls, network segmentation, monitoring, and carrier/provider relationships.
Key responsibilities include defining and executing the enterprise corporate networking roadmap across Voyager facilities and programs; developing network standards, reference architectures, and lifecycle plans for LAN, WAN, wireless, remote access, and segmentation; designing resilient network architectures that support engineering, manufacturing, secure collaboration, and high-availability operations; and driving standardization across sites while accommodating mission-specific requirements and regulated-environment constraints.
You will own operational performance for corporate network services, including uptime, capacity, incident response, change control, and root-cause analysis. You'll establish monitoring, alerting, dashboards, and service metrics that make network health visible to IT and business leadership, and lead major network upgrades and site expansions. Additionally, you will partner closely with cybersecurity and IT operations teams to ensure network services meet the needs of a regulated aerospace, defense, and space technology business.
This role blends strategic leadership with technical depth, requiring modernization of Voyager's network operating model to support rapid site growth and evolving mission requirements. The successful candidate will have experience managing complex, multi-site network environments, vendor relationships, and the ability to balance innovation with operational stability in a high-stakes, security-conscious organization.
