As Director of IT Operations, you will lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of Rapyd's IT infrastructure, internal systems, and business applications. This is a strategic leadership role with broad organizational impact. Key responsibilities include: • Lead the design and continuous improvement of enterprise IT infrastructure, internal systems, and business applications to support rapid company growth • Drive AI initiatives across the organization by identifying opportunities, implementing AI-powered solutions, and automating business processes • Own complex cross-functional IT projects from planning through execution, ensuring alignment with business objectives and on-time delivery • Plan and execute infrastructure, cloud, and business systems migrations while minimizing operational disruption • Administer, monitor, maintain, and optimize enterprise applications, cloud services, and corporate IT environments • Define and implement IT standards, processes, KPIs, SLAs, and operational goals for the department • Evaluate, implement, and integrate new technologies that improve efficiency, scalability, and user experience • Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Finance, HR, and other business units to deliver technology solutions supporting organizational growth • Lead technical initiatives independently with full ownership from planning to execution • Manage vendors, software platforms, licensing, and strategic technology partnerships The role requires strong technical depth, strategic thinking, and the ability to drive organizational change across a distributed, fast-growing fintech company.
