Front is seeking a Director of IT, Corporate Security & Infrastructure to own the systems, identity, and security foundation for the company globally. This is a hands-on leadership role reporting to the Sr. Director of GTM Systems, partnering closely with Data, Engineering, Finance, People, Legal, and the executive team.
The role spans four major areas:
**Corporate Technology Infrastructure**: Own the daily technology experience for all employees, including laptop and endpoint management (Mac/Windows via Iru, Jamf, Intune), email, and collaboration tools. Manage integration governance across iPaaS platforms like Workato, including credential handling and approval gates. Partner with the Office team on new office buildouts (US and international), network infrastructure, and video conferencing. Own IT budget management, capacity planning, and strategy for core platforms (Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, Jira, Notion). Conduct vendor security reviews for all new tools and manage renewals and procurement negotiations.
**Enterprise Security**: Define strategy and roadmaps for corporate security (SaaS, endpoint, network, physical). Partner with compliance teams on SOC 2 and ISO 27001 audits. Implement and enforce corporate security controls, including DLP, SaaS configuration management, OAuth integrations, and access controls. Own incident response for corporate systems (detection, runbooks, tabletop exercises, post-incident review). Ensure SIEM monitoring (Panther, Sumo Logic, etc.). Drive the internal Identity and Access Management (IAM) strategy using Okta SSO, identity governance, least privilege access, and just-in-time provisioning. Co-chair Front's AI Security & Governance charter with Engineering, setting rules for what data AI agents can access, under whose identity, with what approval paths and audit trails. Maintain clear partnership boundaries with Engineering security.
**IT Operations and Help Desk**: Lead Front's IT Support function, owning the employee experience from day one to offboarding. Manage the support queue using Front's own product, handling intake, routing, knowledge management, escalations, and SLAs. Deliver reliable onboarding and automated offboarding. Own system automations for employee lifecycle using Workato and Okta Workflows. Write runbooks and documentation to enable team independence. Run fair on-call and escalation practices. Manage IT and software asset management systems with accurate renewal tracking. Set standards for collaboration tools and build a strong change management practice. Define and execute an end-user compute strategy covering endpoint hardware lifecycle, asset inventory, procurement, and budget forecasting.
**G&A Systems Management**: Own integration and automation strategy between HR, Finance, and Legal systems. Lead implementation and integrations for system changes (ERP, HRIS, ATS). Provide administrative support to finance teams, including NetSuite integrations and configuration.
**Team and Planning**: Lead, develop, and grow a global IT & Security team (4+ members). Hire into gaps, set expectations, and run performance conversations. Own the IT budget, forecast accurately, and partner with Finance on spend visibility. Run annual and quarterly planning processes. Stay hands-on—at this size, the leader still does the work.
