Flagler Health is building a clinical operating system for modern musculoskeletal care, partnering with MSK provider groups and specialty clinics. The company recently closed a Series B funding round and is scaling operations across two geographies.
You will be Flagler's first Director of IT, owning all internal IT operations across the company's New York headquarters and a new India entity being established over the next year. The two regions operate on different technology stacks: New York runs Google Workspace and macOS, while India is being built on Microsoft (Entra ID, Intune, Windows endpoints). This is a hands-on role where you will set strategy while also executing tactical work—writing Intune policies, running access reviews, and overseeing physical infrastructure buildouts.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning corporate IT across both Microsoft 365/Entra ID (India) and Google Workspace (New York) environments
- Building and managing the India Windows fleet on Intune with Autopilot provisioning from day one
- Standing up IT infrastructure for the India entity: procurement, connectivity, and Conditional Access to US systems
- Managing onboarding and offboarding workflows in both directories with same-day de-provisioning capability
- Hiring and managing an in-country IT lead as the India team grows
- Building physical infrastructure for the office move: network, Wi-Fi, and conference room AV
- Defining the support model with ticketing, response targets, and runbooks across two countries
- Managing vendor relationships and budgets, including Microsoft licensing renewals
You will report to the CTO and partner closely with Finance, People Ops, and Engineering. The role requires regular in-person presence at the New York office and occasional travel to India as that entity comes online.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 7+ years in corporate IT, including 2+ years owning the function or leading a team
- Deep hands-on Microsoft administration: Entra ID, Intune, Microsoft 365, and Windows endpoints at scale
- Comfortable running Google Workspace and a macOS fleet alongside Microsoft environments
- Proven experience building an IT function from a thin base at a high-growth company
- Experience supporting employees or contractors outside the US
- Owned office infrastructure through a build-out or move (network, Wi-Fi, AV)
- Vendor and budget ownership, including Microsoft licensing and renewals
- Able to work from the New York office on a regular in-person basis
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Stood up a Microsoft tenant for a new international entity, particularly in India
- Used Windows 365 or Azure Virtual Desktop to keep company data off offshore endpoints
- Healthcare experience handling PHI, BAAs, and clinical or revenue cycle access patterns
- Automation skills: PowerShell, Microsoft Graph, Power Automate, or equivalent
- Experience using AI tooling to improve IT operations
- Hired or managed an outsourced IT provider
- Microsoft certifications (MD-102, SC-300, AZ-104) or equivalent depth
