Perk (formerly TravelPerk) is hiring its first Director of Go-to-Market Engineering to lead the technical infrastructure powering a 800-person revenue organization serving 10,000+ companies globally. You will own GTM Engineering end-to-end: architecture decisions, tooling strategy, team leadership, and hands-on building.
The role is split between strategic leadership and hands-on execution. You report to the VP of Revenue Operations and lead a small senior team across Europe and North America. You'll define Perk's GTM engineering architecture—how CRM, enrichment, signal, sequencing, orchestration, and data layers integrate. You make tooling decisions (adopt, consolidate, retire), set roadmaps with Revenue Operations and Sales leadership, and establish engineering standards for version control, documentation, testing, and rollback.
On the technical side, you design and build in Clay (tables, waterfall enrichment, AI columns, webhooks, API integrations). You own the orchestration layer—the logic determining which records enter workflows, when, and on what criteria. You build agentic workflows using modern LLMs to automate research, qualification, summarization, and data entry. You write production code in Python, SQL, SOQL, or TypeScript as needed.
You'll automate across SDR, AE, and AM functions: account prospecting (TAM sourcing, enrichment, ICP/intent scoring, prioritization), AE productivity (CRM autofill, quoting, meeting prep, opportunity hygiene), and Account Management intelligence (risk signals, whitespace, account planning). Each project moves from prototype to production with proper instrumentation and validation.
The commercial side is equally important. You translate revenue problems into technical architecture and technical output into measurable business impact. You understand Perk's revenue goals and how AI capabilities accelerate them. You quantify outcomes—e.g., reducing time quota-carrying roles spend on non-core activities—and communicate results to leadership.
You'll build and grow a small, senior team, setting clear ownership and review discipline that enables fast, safe shipping. You develop the team's technical depth and commercial judgment in parallel.
