Perk (formerly TravelPerk) is hiring its first Director of Go-to-Market Engineering to lead the technical infrastructure powering a 800-person revenue organization serving 10,000+ companies globally. You will own GTM Engineering end-to-end: architecture decisions, tool selection, system design, and delivery of automation that removes manual work from sales operations.
You report to the VP of Revenue Operations and lead a small senior team across Europe and North America. This is a player-coach role—you will spend half your time hands-on building in Clay, designing orchestration logic, and developing agentic workflows using modern LLMs, while the other half bridges commercial and technical strategy.
Key responsibilities include: defining Perk's GTM engineering architecture (how CRM, enrichment, signal, sequencing, orchestration, and data layers integrate); making tooling decisions and establishing build standards; designing and building production systems in Clay with complex tables, waterfall enrichment, AI columns, and API integrations; owning the orchestration layer that determines which records enter workflows and when; building agentic workflows to automate research, qualification, summarization, and data entry; automating account prospecting globally (TAM sourcing, enrichment, ICP/intent scoring, prioritization); enabling AEs with CRM autofill, quoting, meeting prep, and opportunity hygiene; building account intelligence for Account Management; and turning commercial problems into technical architecture while quantifying impact for revenue leadership.
You should have deep background in Revenue Operations, GTM Engineering, Sales Systems, or Growth Engineering in B2B SaaS, with proven delivery at scale (systems hundreds of sellers relied on). Production experience with Clay (complex tables, waterfall enrichment, webhooks, AI columns) and deep Salesforce fluency (data model, integration patterns, constraints) are essential. Working proficiency in Python, SQL, SOQL, or TypeScript required—you pull your own data. Architecture instincts for scale, monitoring, and recovery are critical. This role demands both builder and leader capabilities.
