Gridware is seeking a Director of Engineering, Data to lead the data engineering function for its Active Grid Response (AGR) platform. The role is based in San Francisco and reports to senior leadership.
Gridware is a climate-tech company pioneering active grid response technology to protect and enhance electrical grid reliability and safety. The platform uses high-precision sensors to monitor electrical, physical, and environmental aspects of the grid, enabling proactive maintenance and fault mitigation. The company is backed by climate-tech and Silicon Valley investors.
As Director of Engineering, Data, you will oversee the data engineering team responsible for building and maintaining the data infrastructure that powers AGR. This includes designing scalable data pipelines, managing sensor data ingestion at scale, ensuring data quality and reliability, and enabling analytics and machine learning workflows. You will work cross-functionally with product, infrastructure, and operations teams to support grid monitoring and fault detection capabilities.
