Salary: USD 190,000 - 240,000 / annual

As Director of Driver (Supply) Growth, you will lead the strategic planning and execution of driver acquisition and staffing across all Zūm yard locations. This is a high-visibility role requiring exceptional leadership, analytical rigor, and cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for scaling driver acquisition (CDL, non-CDL, and bus attendants) across all yard locations
- Forecast staffing needs for peak (back-to-school) and non-peak periods, managing hiring campaigns within budget constraints
- Own the complete driver lifecycle from recruitment through onboarding, ensuring proper vetting, credentialing, and training to Zūm standards
- Develop and track KPIs for driver growth initiatives, providing regular visibility and reporting to leadership
- Conduct competitive analysis at national and market levels to position Zūm as the most desirable employer for school bus drivers
- Partner with Operations, Finance, Recruiting, HR, Safety, and Training teams to align driver growth with company objectives and reduce acquisition costs
- Work with local safety and training teams to standardize and enhance the training and certification process
Required Qualifications:
- Master's degree in statistics, HR, mathematics, economics, or MBA
- 10+ years of domain experience, including leading a workforce planning team across partner sub-teams
- Demonstrated experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder problems with visible and hidden risks, roadblocks, and conflicting constraints
- Experience supporting and influencing senior executives
- Experience setting technical requirements for process automation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with expertise in data analysis and inferential statistical application
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to dive deep into data
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for engaging senior leaders and cross-functional colleagues
- Ability to thrive in dynamic, ambiguous environments by combining analytical rigor with sound judgment
