Key outcomes you'll drive: - Scale from 9 to 50 plants live by 31 December 2027 - Reduce deployment cycle from ~6 months to 8 weeks (contract to evaluation completion) - Establish clear success metrics with customers upfront and achieve 100% first-time evaluation pass rate - Build and grow a high-performing Solutions team, hiring for quality and retention - Create trusted relationships with customer leaders at all levels, with clear escalation paths - Design and implement post-sales operations (model upkeep, support, retraining, expansion contracts) You'll travel approximately 25% of the time to customer plants worldwide, with at least 2 days per week in the London office. You report to Noah Miller, COO, and currently manage a Solutions team of engineers and two team leads, which you'll expand. What makes a great fit: - Hands-on experience deploying early-stage AI products into business customers, working alongside engineers to determine what creates value - Track record of converting bespoke customer work into repeatable product, with measurable improvements in deployment speed and team efficiency - Earned trust from customer leaders (site heads to executives) as an escalation point; credible because you've built and shipped - Experience growing delivery teams, making hiring and performance management decisions, and designing team structure - Coaching mindset combined with ability to step in hands-on when needed - Ability to define success metrics with customers and prove results with data - Early-warning instincts for deployment risks; good judgment on what requires action - Willingness to travel extensively, especially in first months You'll excel further if you have: - Experience managing managers or developing engineers into team leads - Forward-deployed or deployment strategist background with small teams embedded at customers - Track record setting up post-sales or account management for B2B products - Software deployment experience in physical operations (plants, factories, utilities, energy assets) - Personal commitment to decarbonizing energy-intensive industries The company offers equity (share options), flexible working, 30 days holiday plus bank holidays, and a generous pension scheme. Interview process: 30-min initial call, 60-min career conversation with COO, work sample day with real plant data, operating principles panel interview, final CEO interview, references. Target timeline: first call to offer in three weeks. REQUIREMENTS: - Deployed early AI product into business customers, hands-on alongside engineers - Converted bespoke work into repeatable product with demonstrated metrics (faster deployments, fewer people, higher volume) - Earned trust of customer leaders from site head to executive level; been escalation point - Grown a delivery team with hiring and performance management experience - Coaching ability combined with hands-on capability - Ability to define and measure success with customers - Early-warning instincts for deployment issues - Willingness to travel ~25% of time to customer plants worldwide - At least 2 days per week in London office - Visa sponsorship available if required
