Replicant is an AI-first customer service platform that powers millions of calls monthly for Fortune 500 companies and high-growth innovators. The company uses large language models and voice AI to enable AI agents that handle payments, bookings, authentication, and other customer interactions 24/7, while providing real-time conversation intelligence to help contact center leaders improve agent performance.
As Director of Business Operations, you will report to the CFO and partner closely with the CEO and Executive Leadership Team to align strategy and drive focused execution across the organization. You will own the company's operating system—designing how Replicant sets priorities, tracks progress, makes trade-offs, and measures results. This includes designing annual priority-setting processes, OKRs, business reviews, and core operating metrics in partnership with FP&A.
Key responsibilities include: bringing focus to competing priorities by making trade-offs explicit and framing decisions for leadership; connecting functional plans, timelines, and dependencies into one cohesive company plan; diagnosing execution breakdowns across functions and sizing their impact on growth, margin, and customers; leading focused strategic projects embedded with functional leaders to structure problems, build analysis, design solutions, and drive measurable results; taking on company-level questions such as customer time-to-value, product investment ROI, pricing and packaging strategy, and AI investment returns; and raising the bar on decision-making by ensuring leaders have reliable data and defining how every change will be measured.
You will start as a team of one and grow the function as it proves its value. The role requires strong executive presence, structured problem-solving, strategic judgment, and the ability to push back with data and earn the mandate to lead change. You'll work in a distributed, remote-by-design environment with company-wide offsites and team gatherings.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 8+ years in business operations, strategy, consulting, or chief of staff roles, including time at a high-growth B2B SaaS or AI company
- Structured problem-solving: ability to take ambiguous problems, find root causes, and size them with data
- Strategic judgment: ability to identify which problems matter most to the business and why
- Executive presence: senior leaders trust your judgment, you push back with data, and you earn the mandate to lead change
- Bias to finish: you measure success by adoption, not by the deck
- Curiosity and facility with using AI to diagnose problems and automate workflows
- Clear, concise communicator comfortable presenting to executives
- Builder mindset: willingness to start as a team of one and grow the function as it proves value
