Ironclad is seeking a Director of GTM Engineering & Systems Architecture to lead the design and deployment of autonomous agents and systems that power the revenue organization. This is a hands-on leadership role combining technical depth with people management.
You will lead a small, focused team of GTM engineers, systems architects, and CRM developers while personally designing and shipping automation and AI agents that replace manual work currently performed by revenue teams. The role owns three core areas:
**Agentic Systems & Automation**: Design and deploy autonomous agents across GTM workflows, managing their connections to the CRM, data warehouse, and revenue stack. Implement guardrails including human-in-the-loop reviews and transparent permissioning. Stay ahead of agentic AI developments and translate emerging capabilities into Ironclad's product roadmap.
**GTM Tech Stack**: Set a multi-year vision for the revenue operations technology landscape, from forecasting and conversation intelligence to outbound engagement. Evaluate consolidation opportunities, identify obsolete legacy systems, and measure adoption and impact of existing tools. Partner with enablement to maximize leverage before new investments.
**CRM & CPQ Platform**: Own Ironclad's CRM architecture, including CPQ integration and connections to the broader revenue stack. Stay close to field teams to understand user needs and continuously simplify and automate deal cycle elements to reduce manual data entry.
You'll report to the VP of Revenue Operations & Enablement and manage a small team with an ambitious mandate to scale GTM operations globally through automation and AI rather than headcount growth.
Required: 8+ years building AI systems and managing GTM tech stacks, proven track record shipping production AI agents or LLM-powered systems, experience leading CRM/CPQ platform teams at complex GTM organizations, genuine builder mindset with hands-on coding ability, and experience translating revenue stakeholder needs into adopted systems.
