Believe is seeking a Director of Growth Strategy, Planning & Operations to build the operational engine powering the company's transformation as it evolves its product, redefines its brand, and accelerates global growth. Reporting to the VP Brand Marketing, you will establish the planning and operating model that enables Brand and Growth to function as one high-performing global organization, finding, retaining, and empowering independent artists at scale.
You will design and embed the frameworks, rhythms, and governance that bring clarity, alignment, and accountability to how marketing operates—transforming ambition into measurable execution at scale. Your responsibilities span annual planning and integrated campaign operations to launch excellence and budget management, creating systems that enable teams to move faster, make better decisions, and deliver greater commercial impact.
Working closely with Product, Finance, Data, Customer Experience, regional teams, and colleagues across Believe and TuneCore, you will operationalize the creation, communication, and delivery of key strategic initiatives, ensuring they are scalable, measurable, and aligned to business priorities. You will champion an insight-led approach to planning, helping the organization develop deeper understanding of artist needs, marketing effectiveness, and growth opportunities.
Key responsibilities include: partnering with leadership to define strategic priorities and resource allocation; developing and owning the annual planning process; establishing quarterly and bi-annual planning rhythms; building and maintaining the organization's roadmap; designing and implementing scalable operating models and governance; introducing best-practice planning processes and approval workflows; establishing clear roles, responsibilities, and decision-making frameworks; driving operational excellence through continuous improvement; leading cross-functional planning across Product, Growth, Brand, Creative, Regional, and Finance teams; creating consistent launch frameworks and playbooks; building measurement frameworks and defining success metrics; developing dashboards and real-time performance reporting; partnering with Finance and Insights teams on attribution models; managing annual marketing budgets and investment planning; tracking spend across teams, markets, and programs; building forecasting models; and facilitating strategic planning sessions and leadership reviews.
You are equally comfortable shaping strategy and rolling up your sleeves to execute. You thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments, are naturally curious and data-driven, and bring confidence to challenge thinking, influence senior stakeholders, and continuously improve how teams work together. You believe operational excellence unlocks creativity, accelerates innovation, and helps independent artists succeed at scale.
