Salary: USD 224,000 - 308,000 / annual

Okta is seeking a Director of Global Tech Recruiting to lead and scale the company's talent acquisition strategy across Product & Technology organizations globally. This is a strategic leadership role reporting to senior executives (President of Product & Technology, CTO, CPO, CISO, and VP of Engineering) and responsible for building a world-class recruiting function that attracts elite technical talent across the Americas, EMEA, and APJ regions. Key responsibilities include: **Global Technical Talent Leadership**: Lead, mentor, and develop a global recruiting team with deep technical domain expertise. Build a high-performance culture centered on consultative partnership and continuous upskilling. **Executive Technical Partnership**: Serve as the primary talent advisor to C-level and senior engineering/product leaders. Collaborate cross-functionally with FP&A, Tech Operations, Total Rewards, and People Partners to align workforce planning with product roadmaps and company strategy. **Capacity Modeling & Technical Throughput**: Design and manage global technical headcount capacity models, leveling frameworks, and quarterly hiring targets. Allocate recruiter resources dynamically to ensure predictable delivery across specialized engineering and product areas. **Hiring Bar & Candidate Experience**: Partner with engineering leadership to standardize and refine technical interview rubrics, coding assessments, and system design evaluations. Streamline interview processes, enforce SLAs, and deliver a developer-centric candidate experience. **Talent Intelligence & Analytics**: Build executive dashboards tracking full-funnel conversion metrics, assessment pass-through rates, offer acceptance trends, and competitive talent market mapping. Provide actionable insights demonstrating ROI to leadership. This is a hybrid role based in San Francisco, requiring 2 days per week in the office. **Requirements**: - Proven track record leading and scaling global, multi-tiered technical recruiting organizations (including managing managers) in high-growth enterprise SaaS, cloud infrastructure, or frontier technology environments - Deep expertise in full-funnel recruiting analytics, engineering capacity planning, and predictive forecasting to optimize recruiting velocity, interview bandwidth, and offer win rates - Demonstrated ability to navigate complex competitive talent landscapes, engineer compensation structures (equity, sign-on, leveling calibrations), and overcome specialized talent shortages - Proven ability to build trusted, influential partnerships across technical leadership, Engineering Operations, FP&A, People Partners, and Total Rewards - Exceptional communication, data storytelling, and negotiation skills with technical literacy and executive presence to advise and influence C-level leaders and senior leadership globally
