Salary: USD 170,850 - 281,900 / annual
ServiceNow is seeking a Director of Enterprise Sales for the Life Sciences vertical in the Bay Area. In this role, you will lead a team of Sales Executives to drive new business growth and revenue in the region. You will own the regional sales strategy in partnership with Sales Operations, including competitive analysis, territory planning, and go-to-market execution. Key responsibilities include recruiting and coaching sales team members to drive excellence, managing territory development and quota setting, maintaining accurate CRM forecasting and pipeline reporting, and actively participating in C-level customer engagement to understand business requirements. You will also build and maintain relationships with Solution Consulting, Professional Services, Marketing, partners, and the ServiceNow executive team, while retaining and growing the existing customer base through strategic engagement.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving (AI-powered tools, workflow automation, AI-driven insights, or exploring AI's potential impact)
- Extensive track record of new business sales success with strong presentation and negotiation skills, including C-level experience
- Proven success recruiting, coaching, and managing high-performing sales teams
- Strong strategic thinking with analytical and financial planning skills to meet and exceed quotas
- Ownership of accurate CRM reporting, including quarterly forecasts and opportunity inspection
- Experience driving sales processes and effective working relationships with Sales Operations
- Ability to understand IT business drivers and the broader business context
- Ability to build long-term strategic and senior-level relationships
- Adaptability and effectiveness in rapidly changing, growing environments
- Strong business and financial acumen
- Track record building self-motivated, collaborative sales teams that embrace overachievement
- Demonstrated ability to develop and coach team members, with willingness to topgrade appropriately
- Proven partner relationships and networks; ability to grow revenue streams through partner ecosystems
- Ownership of pipeline generation activities developed by marketing or partners
