AgentSync is a venture-backed SaaS company (raised $161M from Craft Ventures, Valor Equity Partners, Marc Benioff) founded in 2018 and headquartered in Denver. The company builds applications and API infrastructure for insurance carriers, agencies, and health plans to manage producer licensing, appointments, contracting, and onboarding—eliminating manual busywork in a compliance-heavy industry.
You will lead the API and Distribution Application team, responsible for identity and authentication systems, contracting/onboarding products, commercialized APIs, and partnership data integrations at the core of AgentSync's platform. This is a hands-on engineering leadership role managing both backend and frontend engineers with ownership of a technical roadmap spanning platform and application layers.
Key responsibilities include: leading and growing frontend and backend engineering teams building net-new products from concept through GA; owning delivery against timeline, scope, and quality; leading AgentSync's AI transformation across the development organization by embedding AI-assisted tooling into planning, design, development, testing, and deployment; managing a development manager who leads a customer operations engineering team; and serving as the technical authority Product, Support, and DevOps consult on platform-level questions.
You'll own a high-impact technical roadmap including multi-org identity rework, NIPR connectivity, third-party payment and commissions integrations, and other mission-critical systems. The role sits between carriers, agencies, and regulators—getting systems right has real compliance consequences and significant business impact. You'll have direct access to Product and leadership with autonomy over how your team operates and the chance to shape the identity and compliance architecture the rest of the platform is built on.
