In this hands-on leadership role, you will own the complete digital marketing strategy and execution. Key responsibilities include:

- Own website strategy and roadmap with focus on conversion rate optimization, including A/B testing and publishing in Webflow.
- Oversee lifecycle and email marketing strategy to improve activation and retention.
- Manage and coach paid digital agency partners and contractors to ensure strong, consistent performance.
- Build performance reporting across channels and communicate data-driven insights to leadership and partner teams.
- Partner with Product, Customer Success, Sales, and the broader marketing team to align digital marketing with company goals.
You will report to the Chief Marketing Officer and manage a small team of internal staff, contractors, and agency partners. This is a strategic role requiring both high-level planning and hands-on optimization.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Director-level experience managing a multi-million dollar marketing budget.
- Several years of hands-on and managerial experience in search engine marketing (Google Ads and Bing Ads), with a proven record of ROI-positive campaigns across global markets.
- Deep experience running paid social campaigns, particularly on Meta and LinkedIn.
- Demonstrated ability to drive both B2C user acquisition and B2B demand generation.
- Experience managing web developers and overseeing website strategy.
- Data fluency: ability to analyze performance data and communicate insights clearly.
- Strong ownership mentality, collaboration skills, and comfort with ambiguity.
- Mission alignment with improving education through technology.
Nice to have: experience with Iterable or similar lifecycle email platforms, Webflow (including automated A/B testing and CMS publishing), reporting tools such as Looker, Metabase, Amplitude, or HockeyStack, edtech or mission-driven SaaS background, and experience briefing and managing creative production for paid campaigns.
