Fuse is building a fusion energy company with a mission to accelerate the world's transition to fusion energy while safeguarding humankind. The Director of Defense Prime Partnerships will lead growth across the federal systems integrator and defense-prime community, responsible for identifying opportunities, building pipeline, executing strategy, and expanding customer relationships. Key responsibilities include building and maintaining strong relationships with senior-level executives, technical teams, program delivery, and capture teams across internal and external constituencies. You will train and influence systems integrators by refining value propositions to meet specific partner and client needs, identify appropriate solutions and services to meet partner and customer integration and infrastructure needs, and develop and manage strategic plans with FSI partners. You'll present results and strategy to varied audiences, tailoring communication to different knowledge levels, and thrive in a dynamic, entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment. Minimum qualifications include 5+ years of systems integrator experience in the federal industry and a demonstrated track record of selling to firms such as Lockheed Martin, Raytheon, Boeing, and similar organizations. Preferred qualifications include 10+ years of experience working with and selling to the federal systems integrator community and an active security clearance. This is an in-office position based at Fuse's Washington, D.C. facility requiring relocation if not already local. The role requires the ability to work extended hours and weekends when needed, and may require business travel to other Fuse facilities. The role may require the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance. ITAR requirements apply: candidates must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, protected individual, or eligible to obtain required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
