Salary: USD 250,000 - 280,000 / annual

Updater is seeking a Director of Corporate Development to lead the company's M&A and strategic growth agenda. You will source, evaluate, and execute acquisitions and strategic partnerships that fuel Updater's expansion across its B2B2C platform serving the moving and relocation ecosystem. Key responsibilities include developing long-term corporate development strategy in partnership with the CEO and CFO; building deep competitive and market intelligence across priority verticals; proactively sourcing and evaluating acquisition and partnership targets; leading all stages of deal execution from outreach through closing; overseeing M&A integration planning and execution; and building senior-level relationships with investment banks, PE firms, and industry operators. You will partner with cross-functional teams (Finance, Legal, Product, GTM) to assess deal synergies, risks, and integration requirements. You'll develop investment cases, present recommendations to the executive team, and monitor acquisition performance against deal theses. The role requires strong financial modeling capabilities, including three-statement models, revenue and cost synergy analysis, and working capital assessments.
