Nearmap is seeking a Director, Commercial Sales for the ANZ region to lead the Mid-Market and SMB go-to-market strategy and execution. Reporting to the VP, Commercial Sales, you will own the ANZ Mid-Market vision and drive regional commercial performance, with a specific focus on Net New Annual Recurring Revenue (NNARR). Key Responsibilities: - Define and lead the ANZ Mid-Market & SMB team, setting operational goals and executing the growth plan - Lead and manage a team of Account Executives, implementing effective sales processes and techniques - Collaborate across Sales, Marketing, Product, Solution Engineering, Customer Success, and Business Development functions - Set and define regional performance targets in collaboration with the VP, Commercial Sales and Corporate HQ - Manage performance against defined targets and resolve issues promptly - Develop the ANZ Mid-Market/SMB strategy and build operational go-to-market plans for the segment - Ensure appropriate resourcing for go-to-market functions with regard to capacity and capability - Represent the Mid-Market segment for the ANZ region and continuously assess business opportunities - Lead by example, reflecting company values and setting the cultural tone - Provide clarity of vision, goals, and pathways for achievement - Hold team members accountable with clear objectives, KPIs, and processes - Drive high performance through coaching, enabling collaboration, and structured processes - Recruit, retain, and develop high performers; recognize and reward performance - Facilitate regular team meetings to increase collaboration and provide training - Ensure compliance with Nearmap policies, local statutory requirements, and corporate Code of Conduct About Nearmap: Nearmap provides property intelligence through powerful aerial imagery, AI-driven analytics, and geospatial tools for professionals who plan, build, insure, and govern the built environment. Requirements: - Demonstrated experience and success in a leadership role within technology, specifically in SaaS or Data Analytics companies - 3-5 years managing and leading high-performing sales teams in technology companies - Experience embedding structured sales methodology to enable and uplevel sales teams, combined with strong coaching capability and proven track record of team development - Experience leading teams through change - Highly developed leadership, relationship management, and influencing skills - Highly developed strategic planning and execution skills - Ability to work autonomously, providing leadership within a global organization framework - Ability to engage with ambiguity, develop flexible solutions, and act with decisiveness in dynamic environments - Highly developed communication skills at all organizational levels - Extensive experience and understanding of geospatial, imagery, and analytics technology - Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills - Positive, energetic, composed, and confident demeanor - Ability to work in fast-paced, matrix-based environments - Trustworthy, direct, honest, and transparent; capable of receiving and providing constructive feedback - Innate ability to connect with people and build trust across the organization - Willingness to collaborate across departments and with the North American division - Bachelor's Degree in a related business discipline or equivalent business experience
