Snowflake is seeking a Director of Business Planning & Architecture to design the operating and financial architecture for the AI Native Engineering (FDE) business. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Services Global Operations, you will own the planning frameworks, operating model, and analytics foundation that drive the entire FDE organization. Key responsibilities include leading annual revenue, bookings, and cost planning for the FDE business in partnership with Finance, Sales, and Delivery leadership. You will build and maintain capacity and demand planning models that align internal and partner resources to forward-looking pipeline and delivery commitments. You will define the data and analytics strategy for the operations organization, establishing the metrics hierarchy, source-of-truth data models, and reporting standards that enable data-driven decision-making across all functional areas. You will architect and evolve the operating model, clarifying how work flows across Business Ops, Commercial Ops, Business Transformation & GTM, and Ops AI & Tooling, with clear ownership, hand-offs, and governance. You will develop future organization strategy, including headcount and skills roadmaps, org design scenarios, and scaling sequencing. Throughout, you will serve as a key connector across Finance, Sales, Delivery, and BizOps to ensure planning assumptions and the operating model reflect real business priorities. Required qualifications include 8+ years in business planning, strategic finance, business operations, or related functions with significant services or GTM exposure. You need 2+ years of people leadership or demonstrated experience leading cross-functional planning efforts and mentoring analysts. You must have proven ability to build financial and operating models (revenue, bookings, cost, capacity/demand) and translate them into executive recommendations. Strong command of operating-model and org-design concepts is essential, along with experience defining metrics, data models, and reporting standards. High proficiency with AI and analytical tooling for planning, scenario modeling, and data storytelling is required; SQL proficiency preferred. Excellent communication and influencing skills are critical for aligning diverse stakeholders up to senior leadership. A Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related quantitative discipline is required; MBA is a plus.
