Anduril Industries is seeking a Director of Maritime Business Development & Strategy to lead zero-to-one initiatives in the maritime domain. This is a strategic leadership role at the intersection of advanced defense technology, customer acquisition, and product strategy. You will own the front end of the business development pipeline for Anduril's Maritime Division, identifying emerging programs and markets, then building engagement strategies to capture them first. Key responsibilities include: • Originate and shape new business opportunities by developing a deep, current view of the client base, programmatic and technical roadmaps, and competitive landscape. Translate this intelligence into a deliberate set of strategic pursuits. • Lead growth strategy by partnering with engineering, product, and division leadership to define customer sets, translate mission requirements into credible product strategies, build necessary partnerships, and lead captures that turn concepts into programs of record. • Manage executive-level customer engagements with existing and prospective clients. Anticipate buying cycles, lead response strategies for RFIs, RFPs, RFWPs, and unsolicited proposals to position Anduril competitively. • Operate at the intersection of strategy and emerging technology. You must be conversant in the technical reality of autonomous maritime systems, the operational reality of how military and commercial customers will deploy them, and the programmatic reality of U.S. government and commercial acquisition processes. • Build capabilities and programs from scratch. This role requires comfort with greenfield problems and a willingness to roll up your sleeves in a fast-moving, high-impact environment. Ideal candidates have experience in consulting, defense business development, commercial maritime, government program acquisitions, defense strategy, or the intersection of advanced technology and national security. You should thrive when strategy, customer relationships, and technical shaping converge in a single leadership seat.
