Anduril Industries is seeking a Director of Business Development for Maritime International Programs to drive global expansion of its Undersea Dominance product line, including the Dive-XL autonomous vehicle. This role bridges technical credibility and commercial acumen, requiring deep engagement with foreign navies and defense ministries to translate operational requirements into shaped opportunities and execute capture campaigns from qualification through contract signature.
You will serve as the credible technical voice with partner navies' requirements officers and engineers, demonstrating expertise in vehicle endurance, autonomy, payload integration, and operational employment. Simultaneously, you will own the commercial strategy: structuring deals, shaping price-to-win, and selecting optimal pathways (FMS vs. DCS, teaming, offset, financing). You will navigate the international regulatory machinery—ITAR/EAR licensing, releasability determinations, and end-use management—in close partnership with trade compliance.
Key responsibilities include identifying, pursuing, and shaping business opportunities for the Undersea Dominance business line; building deep understanding of existing and prospective client bases; monitoring programmatic roadmaps and competitive landscapes; planning and managing continuous engagements with current clients and prospective customers; tracking buying cycles and partner-nation budget cycles; authoring and leading proposals and new customer efforts; and driving closure on new business.
This role transforms capability into enduring international programs, requiring credibility at both the technical and acquisition levels, fluency in deal structures and export licensing, and the ability to turn first wins into long-term strategic partnerships.
