Profound Research is seeking a Director of Business Development to lead growth initiatives for our clinical trials platform. We partner with community physicians to offer clinical trials as a therapeutic option for their patients, handling all infrastructure, regulatory compliance, and administrative operations so physicians can focus on patient care.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing business development strategy to expand our network of physician partners and patient access to advanced therapeutic options. You will identify and pursue new partnership opportunities with healthcare systems, medical practices, and research institutions. Your work will involve building relationships with key stakeholders, negotiating partnership agreements, and driving revenue growth.
You will lead a team focused on business development activities, manage the sales pipeline, and work cross-functionally with clinical, operations, and regulatory teams to ensure successful partnership implementation. This is a strategic role that combines relationship-building, market analysis, and execution to scale our impact in the clinical research space.
The ideal candidate has experience in healthcare business development, clinical research, or related fields. You should have a track record of building partnerships, closing deals, and leading teams.
