As Director of Business Development, you will lead the BD function within Anduril's Growth organisation, responsible for identifying, shaping, and capturing new opportunities for the company. You will serve as the critical bridge between clients and Anduril's internal teams, translating client needs into product development priorities while representing the company's brand and mission externally.
Key responsibilities include:
• Generate and capture business opportunities by developing deep understanding of existing and prospective clients, their programmatic and technical roadmaps, and the competitive landscape. You will manage continuous client engagements, develop growth strategies, and monitor buying cycles.
• Grow existing business by partnering with Operations teams to expand current client relationships and explore new areas of work, leveraging established partnerships.
• Communicate Anduril's value proposition to a broad audience including clients, partners, and the public, projecting the company's ethos and competitive advantages in next-generation defense technology.
• Inform product development by translating client problem sets into engineering priorities. Your assessment of client needs will directly influence product decisions and ensure Anduril's suite remains best-in-class.
Required qualifications include ability to hold NV2 Australian security clearance (TSPV desired), willingness to travel for client engagement, effectiveness in integrated international teams, and robust knowledge of Australian legal frameworks for defense and technology projects.
Preferred experience includes leading Commonwealth approaches to market, complex defense systems (hardware and software), government business development and proposal processes, and prior military service.
