7AI is seeking a Director of DFIR Alliances to architect and scale an ecosystem-led go-to-market strategy focused on digital forensics and incident response (DFIR) partners. This is an executive-level role for a strategic leader who will design how 7AI wins with incident response firms, cyber insurers, and the legal and advisory networks around them.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own full accountability for DFIR partner-sourced and partner-influenced ARR targets, including retainer-to-subscription conversions and post-incident expansions.
- Design and execute a comprehensive DFIR alliance blueprint covering incident response retainer firms, Big Four IR practices, MDR providers with IR arms, cyber insurance carriers, and breach counsel.
- Build and deepen executive-level relationships with leading DFIR firms and insurers, positioning 7AI as an agentic SOC platform that accelerates investigations and protects customers post-incident.
- Establish a repeatable co-selling engine between 7AI enterprise sales and DFIR partner field teams, converting active incidents and retainers into 7AI opportunities.
- Define joint solutions and delivery models where DFIR partners use 7AI to speed triage, scoping, and evidence analysis, transitioning customers from incident response into a continuously monitored, AI-driven SOC.
- Develop relationships with cyber insurers, brokers, and breach counsel to secure panel and preferred-vendor status.
- Align closely with VP of Sales, Marketing, Product, and Global Alliances teams to ensure DFIR strategy feeds enterprise pipeline and informs product roadmap.
- Implement scalable enablement, certification, and partner program frameworks that transform DFIR partners into independent, revenue-generating extensions of the sales force.
Requirements:
- 8–12+ years of progressive experience in cybersecurity alliances, channel leadership, or business development, with a history of scaling early-to-mid stage security software or AI companies.
- Deep working knowledge of the incident response lifecycle, retainer economics, forensics tooling, and how DFIR firms, MDR providers, and insurers make money and select technology partners.
- Proven track record of consistently exceeding multi-million dollar partner-driven revenue targets.
- Existing, active network of C-suite and VP-level relationships across leading DFIR firms, MDR providers, cyber insurers, and breach counsel that can be activated immediately.
- Exceptional negotiation and relationship-building skills, including structuring referral, resale, and technology partnership agreements with services-led organizations.
- Demonstrated ability to transition traditional, transactional channel models into sophisticated, highly scalable, ecosystem-led growth engines.
- Strategic thinker with execution-first mindset who thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous, and rapidly evolving startup environments.
- BA/BS degree required (MBA preferred).
- Uncompromising integrity and stellar business judgment.
