Salary: USD 150,000 - 170,000 / annual

iCapital is seeking a Vice President of Platform Infrastructure to lead the DevSecOps and platform engineering function. This role sits at the intersection of infrastructure, security, and developer productivity, with responsibility for keeping production and development environments running smoothly and securely across a fintech platform. Key responsibilities include: architecting and maintaining highly available solutions across the full software development lifecycle with focus on an internet-facing fintech application; coordinating between Platform Infrastructure and Information Security teams to remediate security issues in platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and development tools; establishing security best practices and shifting security left within the DevOps organization; developing and maintaining tools to support development environments on macOS and Linux; maintaining site reliability through scalable, resilient, highly available systems; developing software and tooling to secure and automate cloud infrastructure with fully automated workflows; and designing and operating Kubernetes environments for container management and orchestration. Required qualifications: 6+ years of DevOps or SRE experience with 4+ years of AWS; 6+ years of CI/CD pipeline development (GitLab, GitHub, or similar); 3+ years of AWS security best practices including SecurityHub remediation; 3+ years of DevSecOps tools (SAST, DAST, SCA); production Microservices experience (Docker, Kubernetes); strong Linux OS-level, command-line, and scripting knowledge; familiarity with databases (MongoDB, Postgres, DynamoDB); infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation); and expert-level networking knowledge. Desired qualifications include: coding beyond scripting in Python, Ruby, or Java; microservice architecture design experience; distributed systems design and troubleshooting; FIX protocol experience for financial trading systems; system tuning and performance testing; and AWS certifications. The role requires strong analytical, communication, and collaborative skills, with a passion for building cutting-edge cloud capabilities and fostering a strong security culture. This is a highly visible position interacting across all business functions.
