The On-Prem engineering team is responsible for deploying Arize in customer environments and managing these systems at scale. The team specializes in Kubernetes and cloud deployment across GCP, Azure, and AWS, with expertise in networking and security for on-premise deployments. This role is part of a dynamic, autonomous team.
In this DevOps Support Engineer position, you will serve as the first point of contact for on-premises customer infrastructure and platform support requests. You will triage and resolve customer issues, monitor platform health using observability tools, investigate and troubleshoot Kubernetes-based deployments to identify root causes and apply fixes, work hands-on with self-hosted environments to diagnose configuration, networking, and performance issues, and document common issues and resolutions to build internal runbooks and knowledge base.
The role offers high autonomy and the opportunity to work with enterprise customers on complex infrastructure challenges. You'll gain deep experience with containerized deployments and cloud-native technologies while directly impacting customer success.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 3+ years of experience in a DevOps, Infrastructure, or technical support role
- Basic working knowledge of Kubernetes (comfortable reading logs, describing resources, understanding pod/service behavior)
- Familiarity with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Strong troubleshooting instincts and ability to systematically diagnose issues
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Eagerness to learn in a fast-paced environment with high degree of autonomy
Differentiators:
- Experience working with or supporting enterprise customers
- Familiarity with Helm charts and Kubernetes deployment management
- Experience with networking concepts (DNS, TLS, proxies, firewalls)
