Kredipay is seeking a DevOps Infrastructure Engineer to join their Jakarta office, reporting to the Infrastructure Engineering Lead. You will be responsible for designing, building, operating, and continuously improving the infrastructure platform that supports business-critical workloads.
Key responsibilities include:
- Design and maintain infrastructure for production and non-production environments
- Operate and improve on-premise infrastructure based on virtualization technologies
- Build automation using Bash, Python, Ansible, or similar tools to eliminate repetitive tasks
- Develop and maintain deployment pipelines and infrastructure automation workflows
- Manage infrastructure services including databases, caching platforms, messaging systems, reverse proxies, and monitoring solutions
- Monitor infrastructure health, troubleshoot production incidents, and perform root cause analysis
- Participate in production on-call rotations and drive infrastructure reliability improvements
- Contribute technical ideas and engineering best practices
- Participate in infrastructure modernization and cloud migration initiatives across AWS and GCP
Required qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in Infrastructure Engineering, DevOps Engineering, System Engineering, or related fields
- Strong Linux system administration skills
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, routing, firewall)
- Experience with virtualization technologies
- Proficiency writing automation in Bash and/or Python
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot production systems
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code or configuration automation (Ansible, Terraform, or similar)
- Ownership mindset with ability to identify problems, propose improvements, and follow through
Desirable experience:
- AWS and/or GCP exposure
- Kubernetes (ECS/EKS/GKE), VMware, Proxmox, HAProxy, Percona MySQL, Redis, ActiveMQ, Grafana, or Prometheus
