You'll join a 4-person DevOps team reporting to the Engineering Manager, working across a 300+ engineer organization. This is a high-impact role shaping reliability and SRE practices at scale.
Key responsibilities:
- Evangelize and simplify SRE practices across the engineering organization
- Proactively identify reliability and performance improvement opportunities
- Define and evolve performance metrics and observability standards (SLIs/SLOs, monitoring frameworks, alerting)
- Scale production resources efficiently while maintaining resilience and cost awareness
- Design, implement, and continuously improve tooling and monitoring systems
- Contribute to engineering guidelines and best practices around reliability and production excellence
- Collaborate with Product, Backend, Security, and Platform teams to embed reliability by design
Required experience:
- Working with cloud environments (AWS)
- Building and evolving observability and monitoring systems (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, Splunk, or similar)
- Scaling production systems and web applications, including asynchronous job systems
- Operating in high-growth or product-led environments
- Influencing engineering teams and driving reliability practices at scale
