As a DevOps Engineer on the Development team, you will design and implement scalable, reliable, and secure CI/CD pipelines that support rapid application deployment. You'll create detailed architecture diagrams, documentation, and standards for DevOps processes and tools, automating the development, testing, release, and deployment lifecycle. A key responsibility is contributing to security best-practices to guarantee application security from the earliest stages of development. You will design and manage decoupled environments to support application and infrastructure development independently, continuously assessing and optimizing the technology stack to align with industry best practices and emerging trends. Collaboration is essential—you'll work closely with development, QA, and security teams to ensure DevOps processes meet application and testing needs. The role includes mentoring fellow engineers in gaining DevOps experience and contributing to a friendly, collaborative company culture. Required qualifications include a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent, with 4+ years of DevOps engineering experience. You must have solid experience with Jenkins, Ubuntu, Kubernetes, Cassandra, and Shell/Python scripting. Core competencies include managing infrastructure and deployment across Azure, AWS, and GCP; implementing CI/CD patterns; strong networking knowledge (TCP/IP, WAN, gateways, switching/routing, cloud networking); and experience with virtualization/container environments (VMWare, KVM, Docker), Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), configuration management (Chef, Ansible), monitoring (Observe, Sensu, Prometheus), and logging/analytics (Elasticsearch). Preferred experience includes Jenkins, Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, multi-cloud platforms, Chef, Terraform, Sensu, Python/Go/Rust, Elasticsearch, and Cassandra.
