As a DevOps Engineer on the Development team, you will design and implement scalable, reliable, and secure CI/CD pipelines. You'll create detailed architecture diagrams, documentation, and standards for DevOps processes and tools. Your responsibilities include automating and accelerating development, testing, release, and deployment of applications into runtime environments quickly and reliably.
You will contribute to defining security best-practices to guarantee application security at the earliest stages of development. You'll design and manage decoupled environments to support application and infrastructure development independently. The role involves continuously assessing and optimizing the technology stack to ensure alignment with industry best practices and emerging trends.
Collaboration is key—you'll work with development, QA, and security teams to ensure DevOps processes support application and testing needs. You'll also mentor fellow engineers in the team, helping them gain experience and assume DevOps responsibilities. The position emphasizes contributing to a friendly and helpful company culture.
Required qualifications include a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent, plus 4+ years of DevOps engineering experience. You must have solid experience with Jenkins, Ubuntu, Kubernetes, Cassandra, Shell and Python scripting. Experience with core infrastructure and deployment tools across Azure, AWS, and GCP is essential, along with CI/CD patterns, strong networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, WAN, Gateways, Switching/Routing, Cloud Networking), and virtualization or container environments like Docker and VMWare.
Preferred experience includes Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, configuration management tools like Chef and Ansible, monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Sensu, logging and analytics tools like Elasticsearch, and programming languages including Go and Rust.
