Key responsibilities include: supporting and improving CI/CD pipelines built on Jenkins and GitHub Actions (including self-hosted GitHub Runners); designing, deploying, and maintaining Kubernetes clusters across Amazon EKS and Nutanix Kubernetes Platform (NKP) on VM environments; building and maintaining shared libraries and reusable components such as GitHub Actions workflows and Terraform modules; managing Nexus Sonatype artifact repositories on VM environments; collaborating on AWS infrastructure management (networking, IAM, storage, compute); contributing to observability initiatives for logging, metrics, and tracing; participating in on-call rotations and incident response; and documenting systems, runbooks, and processes. Required qualifications: 2–4 years of DevOps, Site Reliability, or Platform Engineering experience; hands-on production Kubernetes experience; solid CI/CD automation experience (GitHub Actions, CircleCI, or similar); AWS proficiency (EC2, EKS, S3, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch); Linux/VM infrastructure comfort; hands-on Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform or equivalent) and configuration management (Ansible, Chef, Puppet); Nexus Sonatype or similar artifact repository familiarity; on-call readiness and incident triage experience; and strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, and/or Node.js. Nice-to-have skills include observability platform evaluation or implementation (Datadog, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, ELK/OpenSearch) and experience at high-growth or large-scale e-commerce/retail tech companies. The role offers exposure to both cloud-native and hybrid VM infrastructure, a collaborative team culture with strong engineering standards, and opportunities to lead observability and platform modernization initiatives.
