White Circle is an AI Safety company building the safety, reliability, and optimization layer for AI systems. The company has raised $11M from top-tier investors and processes over 100 million API calls monthly. They fine-tune and train their own LLMs for superior performance and cost efficiency.
As a DevOps Engineer, you will design, build, and maintain production infrastructure across AWS and on-premises environments. Key responsibilities include managing and improving Kubernetes clusters for deployments, scaling, and reliability; building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to make shipping safer and faster; and working with modern infrastructure including Docker, runtime security, and lifecycle management.
You will achieve high availability and performance through monitoring, alerting, and troubleshooting practices. Using Infrastructure-as-Code approaches with Terraform, you'll keep environments consistent and scalable. You'll handle networking and connectivity across the stack—routing, firewalls, load balancing, and cluster-to-cluster communication—while optimizing for minimal latency.
Additionally, you'll write Python scripts and internal tooling to automate repetitive tasks and improve operational workflows. You'll collaborate closely with engineering and ML teams to support product infrastructure, internal platforms, and compute-heavy workloads.
Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with AWS services (IAM, S3, EKS, ECR), production on-premises infrastructure, strong Unix/Linux fundamentals, and practical Kubernetes experience. You should be comfortable with container security, CI/CD pipeline design, networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, routing, firewalls, load balancing), Terraform, Datadog monitoring, and Python automation. Experience with machine learning workloads, multi-cluster environments, or security-focused infrastructure is a plus. Fluent English and clear communication are essential.
