Ottometric is building a cloud platform for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) validation and improvement, processing petabyte-scale multimodal sensor data with AI-powered analytics. We're seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our engineering team in Novi Sad to design, build, and operate the infrastructure powering our platform. You'll own the design and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines using modern development tools and technologies. You'll deploy, configure, and operate applications and microservices across development, staging, and production environments, managing AWS infrastructure including compute, networking, storage, security, and IAM. You'll support Kubernetes-based workloads and containerized applications using Docker, automating operational tasks with Bash or Python scripting. Key responsibilities include participating in software release planning and execution to ensure smooth, reliable deployments; monitoring platform health and troubleshooting infrastructure issues to continuously improve system reliability and performance; and collaborating with engineering teams to enhance development workflows and operational efficiency. You'll also assist with maintaining engineering infrastructure, including internal services, development servers, and cloud-hosted tools, and provide occasional support for office IT infrastructure when needed. Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field; minimum 5 years of professional DevOps, Cloud, or Infrastructure Engineering experience; hands-on AWS expertise (EC2, S3, IAM); CI/CD pipeline design and maintenance; Docker and containerized applications; strong Linux administration; automation scripting in Bash, Python, or Go; infrastructure automation and cloud-native deployment practices; strong analytical and problem-solving skills; good communication and fluent English. Nice-to-have skills include Azure experience, Infrastructure as Code tools (CloudFormation, Terraform), monitoring and observability solutions, networking concepts (VPCs, VPNs, load balancing, DNS, firewalls), GitLab Runner familiarity, Windows/macOS administration, cybersecurity and cloud security interest, and Agile software development experience.
