As a DevOps Engineer on the Platform Team, you'll architect and implement containerized solutions and Kubernetes-based cloud infrastructure to support the company's transition to cloud-native deployments. You'll own the platform end-to-end, from design through production, directly enabling medical device companies to accelerate their time-to-market. Key responsibilities include: - Designing and building reusable infrastructure components that empower engineers to develop, deploy, and operate services autonomously - Building and scaling robust continuous delivery platforms with build pipelines, automated testing, deployment processes, and cloud infrastructure - Maintaining and enhancing performance, reliability, and scalability of server infrastructure - Optimizing CI/CD build processes for efficiency and speed - Managing operational incidents and service disruptions to minimize business impact - Promoting code quality best practices and technical standards across engineering teams - Improving developer workflows through tool evaluation, process automation, and environment optimization You bring a minimum of 5 years of professional DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, Platform Engineering, or Cloud Engineering experience. You're proficient in AWS infrastructure (EC2, VPC, EKS, IAM, RDS), experienced with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CircleCI), and skilled in Infrastructure as Code tools (CloudFormation, Terraform). You're passionate about solving complex problems, thrive in fast-moving environments, and take pride in owning projects from start to finish. You're comfortable collaborating in English with diverse teams and excited about using technology to improve patient outcomes. The role is hybrid (Mon/Wed/Fri in office, Tue/Thu remote) in Vienna. Candidates should be located in Vienna or able to relocate quickly. Unfortunately, the company cannot support non-EU citizens for this position at this time. Compensation is competitive with performance-based bonus and equity options, negotiable based on experience.
