Salary: EUR 5,700 - 6,500 / monthly
ICEYE is a space-based intelligence and Earth Observation company delivering synthetic aperture radar (SAR) satellite capabilities to governments, defense, intelligence, and commercial partners globally. The company operates a constellation of satellites and provides near real-time ISR data for mission-critical operations, civil protection, and commercial applications.
As a DevOps Engineer in the Fleet Control and Satellite Communications department, you will build and maintain reliable cloud infrastructure supporting ICEYE's Earth Observation capabilities. You'll work hybrid (3 days/week on-site in Espoo) reporting to the Engineering Manager for Connect & Ground Stations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Design and maintain AWS-based infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
- Support containerized workloads running on Kubernetes with secure practices
- Configure and manage environments for ground stations, testing, and end-user platforms
- Troubleshoot production issues and participate in incident resolution
- Improve deployment workflows and platform reliability for development teams
- Work with CI/CD pipelines and tools like GitHub Actions
Required qualifications:
- Hands-on AWS experience (VPC, IAM, networking, cost optimization)
- Strong Infrastructure as Code expertise with Terraform
- Container and Kubernetes experience including deployments and debugging
- Practical CI/CD pipeline experience
Desirable skills include observability practices (logging, metrics, alerting), database knowledge (PostgreSQL, RDS, MongoDB), and software engineering background with Go, Python, or Bash.
