As a DevOps Engineer, you'll own the CI/CD infrastructure that powers the engineering team's productivity. This is a hands-on role that bridges DevOps and software development—you'll maintain and improve the build pipeline while staying connected to product development.
Key responsibilities:
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve development tools and productivity
- Own the CI/CD stack, ensuring it remains robust, observable, stable, and performant
- Research and implement tools to help developers write and deploy code faster
- Maintain reliable, consistent CI/CD infrastructure and processes
- Contribute to direct feature development when needed
Required qualifications:
- Strong Linux background
- Hands-on CI/CD stack development and maintenance experience
- Working proficiency in Ruby, JavaScript, or Python
- AWS expertise (EC2, load balancing, auto-scaling, IAM, S3, Route53)
- Telemetry and monitoring experience (OpenTelemetry, Grafana, Kibana)
- Containerization experience (Docker, Kubernetes)
Bonus skills:
- CI build time optimization (Jenkins, Rspec, Cypress/Playwright)
- Database experience (MongoDB, ClickHouse)
- Build systems (Webpack, Gradle)
- CI tools (Jenkins, TeamCity)
