Sensor Tower (now Data.ai) is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join their engineering team in Lisbon. You will own and maintain the CI/CD stack, ensuring it remains robust, observable, stable, and performant. Your role bridges infrastructure and development, collaborating closely with engineers to improve their productivity through better tooling and processes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Taking ownership of the CI/CD infrastructure and keeping it reliable and consistent
- Researching, implementing, and developing tools to help developers write and deploy code more efficiently
- Maintaining strong connections to the product and engaging in direct feature development when needed
- Collaborating with the engineering team to identify and resolve bottlenecks in the development workflow
- Ensuring telemetry, monitoring, and observability across the CI/CD stack
Required qualifications:
- Solid background in Linux systems administration and operations
- Hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD stacks
- Working proficiency in at least one of: Ruby, JavaScript, or Python
- Knowledge of AWS technologies (EC2, load balancing, auto-scaling, IAM, S3, Route53)
- Experience with telemetry and monitoring tools (OpenTelemetry, Grafana, Kibana)
- Containerization experience (Docker, Kubernetes)
Desirable experience includes CI build time optimization (Jenkins, Rspec, Cypress/Playwright), databases like MongoDB or ClickHouse, build systems (Webpack, Gradle), and CI tools like Jenkins or TeamCity.
