Boardable is seeking a DevOps Engineer to own and scale their AWS infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and security practices. This is a hybrid or remote (US) role based in Fishers, Indiana. You will design, implement, and maintain AWS infrastructure including EC2-based workloads, manage CI/CD pipelines, and implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation. Key responsibilities include monitoring and optimizing application performance, implementing automated scaling, and maintaining comprehensive logging, alerting, backup, and disaster-recovery processes. Security and compliance are central to this role. You will own security activities including penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, and remediation tracking. You'll support SOC 2 compliance requirements and maintain security best practices across all environments. Infrastructure documentation and audit trails are your responsibility. As the company increasingly adopts AI/LLM-backed services, you'll support deployment, scaling, monitoring, and observability of these systems. You'll identify opportunities to improve infrastructure reliability, developer experience, automation, security, and cost efficiency. Required qualifications include strong hands-on AWS experience with production infrastructure, CI/CD pipeline management, infrastructure and application security knowledge, and experience with monitoring tools like CloudWatch or Datadog. Familiarity with security frameworks (SOC 2, HIPAA, ISO 27001) and Infrastructure as Code is essential. You should be able to independently organize and drive infrastructure projects. Preferred experience includes AWS certifications, strong Terraform/CloudFormation skills, Docker/Kubernetes, database administration, and experience in regulated or SaaS environments. Experience with AI/LLM systems, including LLM APIs, tool/function calling, and multi-agent workflows, is a significant plus. The company values breadth, ownership, and adaptability. You'll work in a collaborative engineering environment with emphasis on knowledge sharing, have meaningful ownership over production infrastructure, and receive professional development support.
