You will join the Platform team as a Senior Platform Developer, applying software engineering principles to build tools, infrastructure, and developer experience that enable every team at Nesto to move rapidly and confidently. The role focuses on shaping and building the Internal Developer Platform (IDP) to continuously improve developer productivity, scalability, and sustainable growth.
Key responsibilities include:
**Internal Developer Platform (IDP):**
- Shape and build the Internal Developer Platform, continuously improving developer productivity, scalability, and sustainable growth
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders across the value chain to understand their tools and processes, defining and delivering effective solutions tailored to their needs
- Design and scale the IDP through command-line tools (CLI) in Golang, microservices, and observability tools
- Identify gaps and expand platform capabilities to meet the needs of a growing engineering team
**DevOps & Infrastructure:**
- Contribute to DevOps best practices including GitOps, Infrastructure as Code, and Internal Developer Platforms
- Work with modern technology stack: TypeScript/React frontend, Go backend with containerized microservices (Docker), Kubernetes orchestration, Datadog APM monitoring, GitHub Actions and ArgoCD for CI/CD, Pulumi for Infrastructure as Code, and Google Cloud
- Implement and maintain API gateways, RESTful APIs, and pub-sub messaging patterns
- Collaborate on infrastructure automation and configuration management
