Botpress is a Series B AI agent platform for enterprise customer support, having raised $25M in 2025. The company is one of the fastest-growing B2B AI startups globally, displacing legacy platforms like Zendesk at scale across industries and regions. You will join a dedicated product growth team as a Growth Engineer, reporting to the Director of Product Growth. Working alongside a Product Manager and Product Designer, you'll tackle high-leverage problems starting with onboarding, activation, and revenue conversion. This is not a traditional engineering role—it operates as a SWAT team where data drives decisions, speed is paramount, and direction changes happen without hesitation when metrics dictate it. Key responsibilities include: - Building, shipping, and iterating on onboarding flows, activation surfaces, and conversion experiments that directly influence signup-to-paid conversion rates - Designing and running A/B and multivariate tests, instrumenting them correctly, and acting on insights - Owning experiments end-to-end (framing, development, delivery, measurement) with personal accountability for results - Developing lightweight internal tools and growth infrastructure that unblock the team - Contributing to anything that measurably moves a growth metric, regardless of where it sits in the product You'll operate autonomously across the full development cycle without supervision. The code you write today may be replaced next sprint—that should energize you, not concern you. Success is measured by business impact and velocity, not code stability or long-term system ownership. Required experience: - 3–6 years of full-stack development (TypeScript, React.js, Node.js, PostgreSQL, AWS) - Hands-on experience with AI technologies: LLMs, agents, embeddings, or AI-powered product surfaces - Demonstrated ability to own the complete development cycle independently - Strong UI/UX sensibility; you can produce polished interfaces without a designer - Low ego about code; you build what serves the objective, not what you're proud of - Solid experimentation instincts; you think in hypotheses, instrument your work, and let data guide decisions - Proactive by default; you identify problems before they're assigned and arrive with solutions - Clear, direct English communication (French is a plus) Botpress operates fully in-office with a culture valuing both technical rigor and collective ambition. The team is deliberately building the next era of customer support by leading—not just adapting to—the AI revolution.
