We are seeking a skilled and ambitious Senior Software Developer to join our Montreal office. You will be a technical PHP developer passionate about producing maintainable and robust code, working in a collaborative environment to create innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in designing and evolving an integration ecosystem on our growing platform, with expanding use cases and extensibility domains
- Design and build systems capable of handling high transaction volumes
- Design, implement, and support scalable and fault-tolerant systems to minimize user impact from failures
- Contribute to the migration effort toward a microservices-oriented architecture
- Develop features across the full technology stack, managing trade-offs and unblocking colleagues
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools (L2-L3 level) for bounded programming tasks with review and routine feature-level work delegation
- Build and deliver complete end-to-end solutions
Required Skills & Experience:
- Fluency in French and English (written and oral)
- Product-oriented approach
- Experience developing solutions in multiple programming languages
- Strong mastery of PHP, JavaScript, and MySQL
- Knowledge of web services technologies and REST API/GraphQL development
- Proven ability to write, deploy, and maintain professional-quality code
- Strong technical skills across infrastructure, backend, data, frontend, and deployment layers, with ability to make trade-offs and leverage specialists
- Daily use of AI programming agents for bounded tasks with review and delegation of routine work
- Demonstrated ability to build and deliver complete solutions from A to Z
- 5+ years of relevant experience
