VAST Data is seeking a Developer Advocate to serve as a bridge between the company's technical teams and the developer community. You will champion VAST Data's innovative data infrastructure and AI acceleration platform through workshops, content creation, and industry engagement.
Key responsibilities include:
**Community Building & Engagement**
Represent VAST Data at industry conferences, meetups, and events as a speaker. Build and maintain relationships with developer communities, AI practitioners, and data engineers. Nurture the active Cosmos community of customers and partners. Design and deliver compelling technical workshops that showcase platform capabilities.
**Content Creation**
Develop high-quality technical content including tutorials, blog posts, videos, and comprehensive documentation. Create workshop materials for both in-person and virtual delivery. Build applications, reference architectures, and proof-of-concepts that demonstrate platform value. Design and implement hands-on labs for data pipelines and AI workflows.
**Technical Leadership**
Demonstrate best practices for data platform implementations and showcase integrations with popular frameworks. Serve as a technical advisor to sales engineers and customers. Collaborate with product teams to translate customer feedback into product improvements and drive adoption.
**AI Innovation**
Develop proof-of-concept AI agents and data pipelines using VAST Data's platform. Create educational content explaining how VAST Data enhances AI development workflows. Collaborate with partners to showcase real-world pipelines used by their AI agents. Stay current on emerging AI technologies and frameworks to identify integration opportunities.
This role combines technical depth with community engagement, requiring someone who can both build and communicate complex data infrastructure concepts to diverse audiences.
