Novig is building America's leading sports prediction market, recently designated by the CFTC as a regulated market. The company is backed by top-tier investors including Pantera, Forerunner, Lux, NFX, Paul Graham, and Joe Montana, with over $100M in funding.
As Developer Relations Engineer, you'll be the technical backbone connecting Novig's exchange to trading partners, market makers, liquidity providers, and B2B/embedded partners integrating the APIs. You'll own the technical relationship with these partners, sitting between them and the engineering team while remaining hands-on in the codebase.
Key responsibilities include:
- Serving as the primary technical contact for all exchange partners, fielding technical questions and ensuring seamless communication between partners and engineering
- Writing production code, shipping PRs and hot fixes as a regular part of the role
- Diagnosing and resolving integration issues quickly when problems arise, maintaining partner confidence during incidents
- Planning for scale by developing processes and support infrastructure that maintains high-touch service as the partner base grows
- Owning the complete partner experience from initial technical conversations through ongoing support
You'll work in a fast-moving environment where decisions happen quickly, politics are minimal, and ownership is valued. The role requires comfort with live sports operations, which may involve nights, weekends, and high-pressure situations. This is not a role with rigid swim lanes or heavy process—you'll need to be self-directed and comfortable with ambiguity.
Compensation includes $130k–$180k base salary, meaningful equity, 100% health premium coverage, 99% dental/vision coverage, 401(k) with 4% match, HSA with $1,080 annual contribution, transit stipend, and meal stipends when working from the NYC office.
