Anthropic is seeking an experienced Developer Relations professional to lead developer adoption and engagement for Claude Code, Claude Tag, and future AI developer products. This is a strategic, hands-on role that bridges the developer community and Anthropic's product, engineering, and research teams.
You will shape how developers discover, onboard, and succeed with Claude-powered products. Key responsibilities include:
**Strategic Leadership**: Define developer success metrics aligned with business and safety objectives. Build frameworks for measuring adoption and impact. Partner closely with product and engineering to ensure developer feedback informs roadmap decisions. Prioritize community and content initiatives based on data and user needs.
**Technical Excellence**: Set the standard for world-class AI developer relations. Create high-quality technical content including sample applications, tutorials, documentation, integration guides, and best practices. Model excellence in code samples and developer engagement that demonstrates responsible, effective Claude usage.
**Developer Adoption & Community**: Understand diverse developer segments from hobbyists to enterprise teams. Lead developer events, workshops, and community activities. Partner with GTM, Sales, and Marketing on developer-focused campaigns. Act as an advocate for developer needs, translating feedback into product and content initiatives.
**Cross-Functional Collaboration**: Work with Research to translate AI capabilities into accessible educational resources. Collaborate with Communications and Marketing to amplify developer success stories. Promote best practices for responsible AI use.
You bring 5+ years in developer relations, developer experience, or technical product/engineering roles with a proven track record of growing developer ecosystems. You are technically credible with hands-on ability to write production-quality code, understand AI/ML and API concepts deeply, and provide actionable technical feedback. You have genuine insight into developer psychology and behavior, know how to reach developers authentically, and are passionate about AI's potential while committed to responsible development and AI safety.
