Nozomi Networks is seeking a Designated Engineer to serve as the primary technical point of contact for a portfolio of enterprise and industrial customers using their AI-powered OT/IoT cybersecurity platform. In this role, you will own customer relationships, ensuring their security platforms run flawlessly while continuously evolving to meet emerging threats across energy, manufacturing, transportation, and critical infrastructure sectors.
Key responsibilities include: acting as the primary technical liaison for assigned customers; running regular health checks, tuning sensor configurations, and optimizing alert generation; designing and implementing new features, integrations, dashboards, and custom queries to unlock customer use-cases; developing customer-specific documentation and delivering knowledge-transfer workshops; investigating incidents and driving issues to root-cause closure; providing weekly activity summaries and planning updates; and collaborating with Customer Success Managers, Product, and Engineering teams to influence roadmap priorities.
You will work closely with senior professional services engineers, Customer Success Managers, and cross-functional teams to accelerate platform adoption and ensure customer success. The role requires strong technical troubleshooting skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple customer engagements independently.
Required qualifications: 2+ years in technical support, system administration, or technical consulting; knowledge of networking concepts (OSI model, TCP/IP, VLANs), network infrastructure (firewalls, switches), and cybersecurity principles (Active Directory, PCAP analysis); familiarity with Windows/FreeBSD/Unix/Linux operating systems, virtualization, and basic scripting or API usage; strong troubleshooting and analytical skills; and professional fluency in written and spoken English.
Preferred experience includes exposure to OT/ICS environments, experience with Nozomi Networks products or similar cybersecurity platforms, relevant technical certifications (CompTIA Security+, Network+, CCNA, GICSP), and 2+ years in customer-facing roles for cybersecurity vendors or system integrators.
