Kaizen Labs is a government technology company founded in 2022 that replaces legacy federal systems with modern software. The company has raised $35M from top-tier VCs (NEA, a16z, Accel) and is based in NYC and DC, with revenue growing 35x this year and software projected to serve over 100 million Americans across dozens of federal agencies next year.
In this role, you will own the complete implementation lifecycle for Kaizen's federal customers. This includes discovery and scoping, platform configuration, data migration, system integrations, stakeholder training, go-live coordination, and post-launch support. You will work inside classified and accredited environments where data-handling constraints are design inputs, not obstacles. You'll translate field patterns back to Product and Engineering to identify edge cases, workflow gaps, and unstated agency needs. You'll act as the connective tissue between customer-facing implementation and engineering teams building against Foundry, AIP, and Maven Smart System. You'll develop playbooks, templates, and internal documentation to accelerate future deployments. You'll also guide public sector partners through change management as they transition from legacy systems.
This is a hybrid role based in DC; candidates must reside in the DC area or be able to commute to the office at least three times per week (Tuesdays–Thursdays). The role requires an active Top Secret or TS/SCI clearance and U.S. citizenship.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years in SaaS implementation, onboarding, solutions engineering, or product-adjacent delivery roles (Implementation Consultant, Solutions Architect, Technical Program Manager), with a track record of owning multi-stakeholder rollouts
- Technical fluency: comfortable with APIs, data models, and system configurations; able to discuss integration tradeoffs with engineers
- Experience translating customer requirements into implementation plans and technical workflows
- Comfort operating inside classified or accredited environments, or demonstrated ability to quickly learn new compliance and data-handling constraints
- Bias toward action: preference for building processes while running deployments rather than waiting for established playbooks
STRONG CANDIDATES MAY ALSO HAVE:
- Prior experience deploying software inside classified or accredited environments
- Hands-on exposure to Palantir Foundry, AIP, Maven Smart System, or similar platforms
- Federal, state, or local government implementation experience (not just enterprise SaaS)
- Experience building implementation playbooks or internal tooling from scratch at early-stage companies
