Forgepoint is building AI workers for manufacturing back-office operations (quoting, purchasing, invoicing, sales coordination). This is a client-facing deployment and strategy role at the intersection of deployment, product, and operations. You will be the on-site lead responsible for transforming customers' operations from manual processes to fully automated, AI-powered workflows. Working directly with CEOs, COOs, and Plant Managers, you'll lead on-site discovery to map current workflows, then design how AI agents should behave within those processes—translating business rules into agent tasks, guardrails, approvals, and handoffs. You'll configure and launch agents, run pilots, iterate quickly with users, and establish baselines to prove measurable ROI. As deployments succeed, you'll capture learnings into playbooks and templates that accelerate future implementations. Key responsibilities include: - Leading customer deployments end-to-end from discovery through go-live, demonstrated ROI, and steady-state adoption - Building trusted relationships with customer executives and frontline teams, moving fluidly between boardroom and shop floor - Mapping complex workflows and translating ambiguous business rules into clear requirements, agent tasks, guardrails, and handoffs - Establishing success metrics and using data to prove value and guide deployment decisions - Configuring and launching AI workers in partnership with Agent Engineers, then testing, monitoring, and iterating until reliable performance - Running workshops, project cadences, and stakeholder communications to maintain momentum - Converting field learnings into repeatable playbooks, templates, SOPs, and product feedback - Identifying expansion opportunities for AI agents into additional workflows post-launch - Traveling to customer sites across the US and spending meaningful time in their operating environments The role requires in-person presence in the NYC office five days per week, with regular travel to customer sites. The work is hands-on, fast-moving, and deeply user-centric. REQUIREMENTS: - 4+ years of experience in management consulting (Bain, BCG, McKinsey, or similar) or software implementation, with meaningful client-facing delivery experience - Strong process-design instincts with an eye for simplification, measurement, and operational quality - Exceptional communication and facilitation skills; ability to run workshops, align stakeholders, and drive decisions - Ability to translate ambiguous business rules into precise operating procedures - Data-curious and analytical; comfortable with spreadsheets and basic data exploration to validate assumptions - Action-oriented, organized, and calm under pressure; ability to close every loop - Commitment to the mission and willingness to work in-person five days per week in NYC with travel to customer sites BONUS QUALIFICATIONS: - Past experience in manufacturing or other industrial settings - Exposure to ERPs, MRPs, CRMs, MES, or accounting systems common in manufacturing - Experience designing SOPs and change-management plans - Awareness of LLM/AI concepts and light familiarity with TypeScript, NodeJS, React, PostgreSQL
