Eyebot is a Boston-based healthtech company developing vision-screening kiosks to make vision care accessible. The company is backed by top investors and the National Science Foundation, and deploys kiosks across retail and healthcare locations nationwide. As Deployment & Logistics Manager, you will oversee the end-to-end logistics of kiosk deployment, from warehouse preparation through delivery and installation at partner locations. You report to the Director of Operations and work from our Charlestown, MA headquarters and warehouse, with occasional travel to store locations. Key responsibilities include: **Shipping & Carrier Management**: Obtain freight quotes and book carriers (LTL, white-glove, dedicated trucks) for kiosk shipments nationwide. Confirm delivery dates with retail partners, align them with internal install and training schedules, and track every shipment from warehouse to store. Manage documentation of kiosk condition, prevent damage, and handle claims when necessary. Maintain relationships with shippers to support various shipping requests. **Store Readiness**: Conduct remote store assessments via video walkthroughs, test internet connectivity, and review proposed kiosk locations against requirements for space, power, internet, and lighting. Flag issues early and schedule in-person visits or local technician support when needed. **Scheduling & Coordination**: Maintain a master calendar of kiosk launches including shipments, installs, and training. Collaborate with sales and operations teams to establish realistic timelines. Coordinate with engineering on kiosk build, test, pack, and ship schedules. Plan travel for installation and training staff. Schedule third-party technicians when necessary. **Warehouse & Inventory**: Receive, track, and stage kiosks, parts, and accessories. Maintain accurate inventory records. **Process Improvement**: Create and maintain checklists, shipping procedures, and vendor contact lists. Review each launch post-deployment to identify improvements. Identify opportunities to reduce shipping costs and delivery times. Success means kiosks arrive on time and undamaged, all stakeholders have visibility into launch status, store readiness issues are caught before shipment, shipping costs trend downward, inventory is accurate, and the launch process is clear, repeatable, and not dependent on any single person. **Requirements:** - 2–5+ years of experience in shipping, logistics, fulfillment, or operations coordination - Exceptionally organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through - Experience working with freight carriers, ideally shipping large, heavy, or fragile items (LTL or white-glove) - Clear, professional communicator with coworkers, partners, and vendors - Comfortable managing multiple timelines simultaneously and adjusting quickly to plan changes - Strong spreadsheet and tracking tool skills; quick learner on new systems - Hands-on and comfortable working in a warehouse, including packing and staging kiosks; able to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs - Experience with retail store rollouts, hardware installs, or startup environments is a plus
